Hi Zig here.
I’ve grabbed hold of John’s iPad to let you know what kind of Christmas I had. I was hopeful that Santa Paws would bring me an iPad of my own but I had no such luck. To say I’m gutted would be an understatement. I did get some great presents though but not before we all dressed up in our Christmas gear.
I quite liked the snowman one that John wore
They all went out on Christmas Eve without me. The last I heard before they disappeared was something about alcohol …
And what they described as “a little light breakfast”.
And then it was time for my presents.
with a matching collar!
Oh, and I also got more treats to add to my ever growing store.
We enjoyed breakfast together and then the four of them set of for lunch and left me to guard our home. It’s my job and as Head of Security for Highbury House I know that it’s a 24/7, 365 day commitment. My time with BATSUB taught me that.
The next day (Boxing Day) was a sad one for all of us. It was time for Geordie to leave us. He’d been with us for nearly a month and I’d got used to playing with him again.
And what about me you’re thinking. Well I was trying out my new bed.
“You’ve got to admit that green is so my colour”.
Rose (she’s the nice one) and John could see that I was feeling a bit down absent Geordie so they asked me if I’d like to go out and so we took a ride in to ‘Town and I was amazed at just how much progress had been made on some of the building developments.
I mean what about the new hotel just south of the Sir Barry Bowen bridge that John told you about November last year.
And the new floor above Mark’s Shopping Center.
And just across the road another new supawmarket.
Oh well I’ve got to sign off now and put the iPad back before John discovers I’ve been using it but before I go I just want to wish you all a happy new year. May you get what you deserve in 2016. For me that will mean lots of treats!
The headline for today’s (supaw) edition is based on the single released in 2000 by the Baha Men which reached number two on the UK Singles Charts and number forty on the US Billboard Hot 100.
